Gunter Stephan chairs the Steering Committee of NRP 73

The Research Council has elected a Steering Committee composed of international experts to select the projects and oversee the implementation of NRP 73.

The Steering Committee of NRP 73 is composed of eight experts from Switzerland and abroad. It is chaired by Gunter Stephan, Professor of Economics at the University of Bern.

The Research Council appoints a Steering Committee for each NRP. Its role is to devise a strategy and to ensure that the NRP is conducted as planned from the selection process to the programme synthesis. The members of the Steering Committee cover the different disciplines and fields addressed in NRP 73.

The FOEN represents the federal administration in the Steering Committee.
