NRP 73 at the second Swiss Resources Forum

The second Swiss Resources Forum took place on 25 October 2018 under the title of “Science, business and cities together for more resource efficiency”.

As a partner NRP 73 was represented with a keynote presentation by Professor Gunter Stephan, president of the Steering Committee, and two workshops.

Some 90 participants from science, business and the public sector discussed resource efficiency and the circular economy in the city of the future in the plenary session. These topics were then further explored in three different workshops on the topics of the circular economy in the construction industry, post-fossil cities and efficiency leaders.

Implementing solutions to conserve natural resources and at the same time enhance the innovative strength and competitiveness of the Swiss economy will require a rethink of political processes, cooperative partnerships and creativity on the part of all stakeholders.
